Multiple-Zone Radiant Packages for Concrete Slabs
Multi- Zone Radiant Packages for Concrete Slabs - Designed for concrete slab installation in homes and other buildings with multiple (small) areas that need to be controlled by separate thermostats. Multi-Zone Radiant Packages use one manifold/pump assembly with zone valves (called Loop Actuators) controlled by a zone valve controller. Multi-Zone Packages can be used if the zones require no more than 2 tubing loops each (one loop each preferably). Square footage estimate based on 12" tubing spacing (reduce square footage estimate with closer tubing spacing). Loop Actuators can be wired together for large rooms with single thermostat control. Add one flow/temp indicator per loop for accurate flow and temperature balancing. Heat Source, expansion tank, thermostatic mixing valve and std. piping/fittings between the heat source and manifold are not included, see Additional Components below.

Upgrades:
1/2" Screw Clip Upgrade - CLC3(upgrade) Sale $37.44 includes (100) CLC3 1/2" Screw Clips (replaces 100 HRCT tubing ties). Order (1) CLC3(upgrade) per loop. Screw Clips are used to secure tubing directly to rigid foam-board under-slab insulation. For more info on Screw Clips, visit HRH FAQ's. Bronze Circulator Pump Upgrade - HRGP1SS(upgrade) Sale $194.53 includes HRGP1SS single speed bronze pump w/brass "Isolator" 1" flange and integral ball valve set (replaces HRGP1 pump, HRGFLG5 flange set and HRGPMK pump mount kit included in std. package). Order (1) HRGP1SS(upgrade) per radiant package. Bronze circulator pumps can be used in all radiant systems to minimize corrosion, and are required for use in "open" systems using potable domestic hot water.
Additional HRH Package Upgrades
Additional Components: Expansion Tank - All radiant systems require an expansion tank. Standard expansion tanks are recommended for "open" systems (open systems use potable domestic hot water), HRMVSEX15 for systems up to 50,000 BTU's and HRMVSEX30 for systems from 50,000 to 100,000 BTU's. Expansion tanks with auto-fill valves are recommended for closed systems, HRMVSFT109 for systems up to 50,000 BTU's, HRMVSFT110 for systems from 50,000 to 100,000 BTU's and HRMVSFT111 for systems over 100,000 BTU's. Thermostatic Mixing Valve - (HRTV4, HRTV5 or HRTV5th) is required on radiant systems if the heat source cannot supply the lower temperature supply water needed for floor heat (typically 90 F to 125 F). The TMV is a manually set valve installed between the main manifold supply and return lines that blends return loop water with supply water to maintain the desired supply water temperature. Pressure Test Kit - (MVSPTKCM) includes air valve w/cap, 100 PSI air gauge (2.0") and pipe fittings with 1" MPT adapter to connect directly to Comap manifold for pressure testing or to pressurize tubing during concrete pour.
