Here is a general overview of the most common fittings used in a typical Manabloc installation (click on part number links for additional information or to order online):

Manabloc Main Supply (Inlet) Port Fittings

Std. Manablocs have (3) main supply inlet/outlet ports that can be configured two different ways:

1.      Cold Supply Inlet connected to main; Hot Supply Inlet connected from water heater; Cold Outlet capped.  Water heater cold supply is branched from main before the Manabloc.

2.      Cold Supply Inlet connected to main; Hot Supply Inlet connected from water heater; Cold Outlet connected to water heater cold supply.  Water heater cold supply is fed from Manabloc cold outlet.

MXSA4 - 3/4" Pex Crimp x Manabloc (brass) - Used to connect 3/4" Pex (crimp) to one of the main inlet/outlet ports on the Manabloc for main water supply. 

MXRSA4 - 3/4" Pex Crimp x Manabloc (PolyAlloy) - Used to connect 3/4" Pex (crimp) to one of the main inlet/outlet ports on the Manabloc for main water supply. 

MXSA5- 1" Pex Crimp x Manabloc (brass) - Same as MXSA4 except larger size for 1" Pex (crimp).

MXRSA5- 1" Pex Crimp x Manabloc (PolyAlloy) - Same as MXRSA4 except larger size for 1" Pex (crimp).

MSA45 - 3/4" MPT x Manabloc - 3/4" MPT fitting installs on the main inlet/outlet ports on the Manabloc for main water supply.  Requires supply line with 3/4" FPT fitting.

MSA55 - 1" MPT x Manabloc - Same as MXSA45 except larger size (1" MPT).

ECAP1 - Manabloc main inlet/outlet port cap - Install on a Manabloc inlet/outlet port to cap an unused supply port.

MXSC45 - 3/4" Pex Compression (7/8" OD) x Manabloc - 3/4" compression fitting installs on the main inlet/outlet ports on the Manabloc for main water supply. 

MSS55 - Manabloc x Manabloc connector - Used to install Miniblocs together (in series).

Manabloc Distribution (Fixture) Port Fittings

MXLSA23 - 3/8" Pex Crimp x 3/8" port Manabloc adapter - used to crimp 3/8" Pex to 3/8" Manabloc ports.

MXRDC24 - 3/8" Pex Ccrimp x 1/2" port Manabloc adapter (PolyAlloy) - used to crimp 3/8" Pex to 1/2" Manabloc ports.

MXRDC34 - 1/2" Pex Crimp x 1/2" port Manabloc adapter (PolyAlloy) - used to crimp 1/2" Pex to 1/2" Manabloc ports.

MVSRX2 - 4- Piece compression fitting to connect 3/8" Pex to a 3/8" Manabloc fixture port.

MVSRX3 - 4- Piece compression fitting to connect 1/2" Pex to a 1/2" Manabloc fixture port.

RXPC3 - Safety Cap - used to seal and protect unused 3/8" Manabloc ports (also used as a test cap for std 1/2" threaded nipples).

RXPC4 - Safety Cap - used to seal and protect unused 1/2" Manabloc ports (also used as a test cap for std 3/4" threaded nipples).

Fixture Fittings

Tub/Shower Fittings

XLDE23C - 3/8" crimp x 1/2" FPT Drop-Ear Elbow (copper) - Used in tub & showers to install tub spouts and showerheads. Two "ears" (with screw holes) provide sub-wall mount for showerheads and tub spouts. 

XLDE33 - 1/2" crimp x 1/2" FPT Drop-Ear Elbow - Used in tub/showers to install tub spouts and showerheads. The three brass "ears" (with screw holes) provide a very secure sub-wall mount for showerheads and tub spouts. 

XLC22M/21F - 3/8" crimp x 3/8" sweat (male) - used in concealed locations to connect 3/8" Pex to fixtures with 3/8" sweat (female) connections.

XLC23M/22F - 3/8" crimp x 1/2" sweat (male) or 3/8" sweat (female) - used in concealed locations to connect 3/8" Pex to fixtures with 1/2" sweat (female) or 3/8" sweat (male) connections (combination fitting).

XLC33M - 1/2" crimp x 1/2" sweat (male) - used in concealed locations to connect 1/2" Pex to fixtures with 1/2" sweat (female) connections.

XLC33F - 1/2" crimp x 1/2" sweat (female) - used in concealed locations to connect 1/2" Pex to fixtures with 1/2" sweat (male) connections.

XLMC23 - 3/8" crimp x 1/2" MPT - used in concealed locations to connect 3/8" Pex to fixtures with 1/2" FPT.

XLMC33 - 1/2" crimp x 1/2" MPT - used in concealed locations to connect 1/2" Pex to fixtures with 1/2" FPT (tub/shower valves, hose bibs, etc.)

Washer, Ice-maker & Hose Bib Fittings

XLFC23 - .3/8" crimp x 1/2" FPT - used in concealed locations to connect 3/8" Pex to low-flow hose bibs.

XLFC33 - .1/2" crimp x 1/2" FPT - used in concealed locations to connect 1/2" Pex to standard hose bibs (MVSFFHB08VB, MVSFFHB10VB, MVSFFHB12VB).

XLSA23B - .3/8" crimp x 1/2" FPT - used to connect 3/8" Pex to fixtures with 1/2" MPT.  Connects to std icemaker and washer rough-in boxes (MVSICEBX or MVSWASHBX).

XLSA33B - .1/2" crimp x 1/2" FPT - used to connect 1/2" Pex to fixtures with 1/2" MPT.  Connects to std icemaker and washer rough-in boxes (MVSICEBX, MVSWASHBX).

Lavatory Fittings

XRSA23 - 3/8" crimp x Lav. (PolyAlloy) - used to connect 3/8" Pex to lavatory and sink fixtures.  Allows removal of fitting without re-crimping. (bath. lav, kit. sink, util. sink, etc.).

XLSA23 - 3/8" crimp x Lav. - used to connect 3/8" Pex to lavatory and sink fixtures.  Allows removal of fitting without re-crimping. (bath. lav, kit. sink, util. sink, etc.).

XLSA23B - 3/8" crimp x Lav. - 1/2" crimp x Lav. - same as XLSA23 except with brass swivel nut instead of plastic (recommended for MVS icemaker and washer rough-in boxes).

XRSA33 - 1/2" crimp x Lav. (PolyAlloy) - used to connect 1/2" Pex to lavatory and sink fixtures.  Allows removal of fitting without re-crimping. (bath. lav, kit. sink, util. sink, etc.).

VXVL23 - Polymer Valve, 3/8" crimp x Lav. - used to connect 3/8" Pex to lavatory and sink fixtures.  Allows removal of valve without re-crimping.

Dishwasher Fittings

XCME22 - 3/8" compression x 3/8" MPT elbow - Compression fitting used for 3/8" Pex dishwasher supply.

XCME32 - 1/2" compression x 3/8" MPT elbow - Compression fitting used for 1/2" Pex dishwasher supply.

Closet Fittings

XLCSA23 - 3/8" crimp x closet - used to connect 3/8" Pex to toilets.  Allows removal of fitting without re-crimping.

VXVC2 - Polymer Valve, 3/8" crimp x closet - used to connect 3/8" Pex to toilets.  Allows removal of valve without re-crimping.

XLCSA33 - 1/2" crimp x closet - used to connect 1/2" Pex to toilets.  Allows removal of fitting without re-crimping.

Water Heater Fittings

XLSE4418 - Water Heater 18" flex connector (copper) x 3/4" crimp (swivel ends).  Provides the code required 18" between Pex tubing and a water heater.  Includes swivel end nut for simple installation or removal.

Tubing bundling ties

HB14120 - Heavy-Duty 14" nylon zip tie to bundle tubing at the Manabloc.

Test Plugs / Test Caps

RXPC3 - 1/2" FPT test cap - used to cap 1/2" threaded showerhead and tub spout pipe nipples when pressure testing plumbing system.

VXP2 - 3/8" Plastic test plugs (crimp) for pressure testing system.  Also used to keep dirt and debris out of tubing during installation.  Also available for 1/2" (VXP3) and 3/4" (VXP4) tubing.

Escutcheons

RXEW2 - White plastic escutcheon (decorative flange) for 3/8" tubing.  Also available for 1/2" tubing (RXEW3).

RXEW2D - White plastic escutcheon (decorative flange) for 3/8" tubing has 2 holes for both hot and cold supply lines.  Also available for 1/2" tubing (RXEW3D).
